The client is a social media technology startup that helps global brands to better connect with their consumers through social channels. The client provides social media marketing software and services to global brands and advertising agencies. The company offers marketers comprehensive solutions to build, manage, monitor, and measure brand presence across the social web. The client requirement was to build a cost-effective tool to measure and monitor the social media presence of brands and to create reports.

APPROACH

Social media campaigns include social media contests, quizzes and surveys, invite-only loyalty campaigns, and sweepstakes. These platforms were built on a PHP framework and distributed within a multi-tenant cloud environment supporting a large number of enterprise clients. The apps with user-generated content (UGC) have multiple tools on the user side and client/agency side to create, publish, and analyze engagements.

These apps give brands and agencies the ability to increase user engagement by launching effective social media campaigns spread across various mediums such as company websites, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, microsites, mobile sites, community, and additional social sites. All engagements are analyzed using detailed analytics tools. Machine learning algorithms and natural language processing are used to moderate customer comments through social channels.
