PlayMe- Social Competitions

Project Description

A social competition app that engages users with memes and statements as challenges. Here, the quality of content is measured in wins and losses, not likes and shares. You can be a fan, judge, contestant, or all of the above! You can challenge players' posts with your own, and your fans and other players on the app vote for their preference. Whoever has more votes after 24 hours, wins, and the win/loss is tallied to each user's respective profile.

Here are some things you can do:

• Vote on friends and other players challenges
• Become a fan of any player to follow their activity
• Filter your feed to and from play mode (single posts) and vote mode (challenges)
• Filter your feed by popular, recent, or fan of (people you follow), as well as by category or tag
• See your record, past challenges, posts, and votes in your profile
• Check the leaderboard to see how you compare to other players on the app
• Connect your Facebook account to invite your friends
• See which friends are already on the app
• Share your challenges

How it Works

Post:
Upload a photo from your device. Add a caption, place it in a category (e.g. funny), and add specific hashtags to it. All your posts can be accessed in your profile.

Play: Invite other players to challenge your post or challenge photos that have already been posted. All your challenges can be accessed in your profile, along with your win/loss record.

Vote: Vote on your friends' or any player's challenge, and access past votes in your profile.

Filter: Change your feed to and from play Mode (single posts) and vote Mode (challenges). Filter by popular, recent, or fan of (players you are a fan of), as well as by category or tag.

Share: Connect your Facebook account to share any challenges directly to Facebook. You can invite your friends to join PlayMe, as well as see which of your Facebook friends are on the app.

Win: Do what it takes to get out there and show the PlayMe community how funny, awesome, and skilled you are!
